Camp Kaenae

Camp Keanae

Keanae’s stunning setting and incomparably low rates makes this a premiere site for many other prestigious festivals and conferences. Sharing this international paradise with our growing T’ai Chi Ch’uan family also helps to support Pushing for Peace missions all over the world, so please make the yearly Maui Qi Fest your first choice for a deeply enriching and stimulating vacation.

This year we are bringing together a great group of master-teachers who are rooted in prestigious lineages from many of the main branches of our family tree: Guang Ping, Yang and Wu. We are offering an extensive Shaolin program, as well as dance for kids. Qigong, Yoga and bodywork massage training are all included. A complimentary full hour massage, with styles varying from Thai to Lomi Lomi to Shiatsu from highly skilled body-workers is also included in your unforgettable Maui Qi Fest experience!

Zhao GuohongJonath Padilla, Marilyn Cooper, Lindsey Wei, Zochi Young, Scott Jensen, Ghislain DeTaillandier and Merle Ommert will lead these diverse workshops. Marilyn will share the Peace Games before orientation with all which will cultivate a vital Qi connection amongst all in attendance. Click here for the schedule of events and updates  CALENDAR

Featured presenter will be Master Zhao Guohong, who studied under Grandmaster Zhang in Beijing for only a few years. Zhao likes to say that he stopped copying Zhang’s form and just “stole his ideas.” In Beijing, he trained intensively with another student to develop the techniques that later made him the best of the best for the whole San Francisco bay area. During the four years he maintained a following of devoted push hands players, Zhao delivered his promise to make anyone who wanted to learn from him proficient within one year, with no fee.  He will explain these ideas in his workshop and play with everyone and anyone. Expect the unexpected and explore unchartered realms with Zhao, our favorite “Spontaneous Style Boxer!”
