What are the Peace Games? They are a series of 9 solo, partnered and whole group games that make people feel more grounded, focused, centered and connected to others. We still offer training in these fun and easy games.
Grandmaster Marilyn Cooper created the Peace Games in 2000 (in response to the tragedy at Columbine High School) to combat bullying and youth violence and increase mental and physical health. Today, the games are practiced all over the world, but the results are the same. Players of all ages and ability levels feel more centered, grounded, compassionate and relaxed after just one hour without learning complicated forms and systems.
